Care Instructions

SHIRTS

Machine wash at 30-degrees Celsius (cold) on gentle cycle with your regular laundry powder. Pull into shape and hang to dry. Ironing may not be necessary. Do not use bleach or softeners, as these can harm your wool. Do not tumble dry. You can also professionally dry clean your shirts, if you prefer.

Our shirts are made from natural fibres that get softer with each wash. Slight shrinkage on the first wash is normal. For a perfect fit after washing your shirt should be comfortably loose fitting when brand new.

All occasions shirt

Received the shirt in black a couple of weeks ago and have been really pleased with it. It’s quite smart and has a real ‘presence’ - have been wearing it to meetings, a recent funeral, and out on social occasions. It’s also really comfortable and has the feeling of real quality. I ordered an icebreaker shirt at the same time to compare, and ended up sending it back as the Hardvark was a classier more sophisticated offering. As a minimalist and someone who is on the move a lot I have very few items of clothing but like to buy the best I can afford. I suspect the shirt will prove to be value for money if it lasts as long as the quality suggests it will.

Great shirt

Love the feel and fit. I normally have problems with the arms not being long enough, but not on this cut. Would buy again. Quality excellent.

Fantastic Shirt, worthwhile improvements vs previous version

I bought the original version after launch 2 years ago and have worn it regularly since. Love it and it has held up well. My only small gripe was the front placket which was a bit too narrow and sometimes led to gaping between the buttons. Still, I like the shirt so much I just bought another another and the current generation fixes that issue entirely. Delighted. Now we need some plaid versions of the Voyager. A line of lighter weight plain colour formal shirts for business wear would mean I would never have to buy a cotton shirt ever again.

Excellenet - I'll never buy another shirt again if you increase the range

Genuinely great shirts - if Hardvark increase the range of styles I will never buy a normal cotton shirt again... to explain how good these are here's how I wore one the first week...

2.5 hour train journey across London & up north for meetings = no sweating, no creasing, all day meetings then 2.5 hours back to London... Wore again the next day as was still so clean for a 45 minute motorbike commute and again, no sweating, no creasing

Great shirts - only thing I'd call out is the length between buttons, I can't wear top button undone in the office without looking like a play boy

If you made a strong "office" range I will never buy a normal cotton shirt again.

My first purchase......

Great product and I love the material, very happy with my purchase. Perhaps some more versatility on your sizing would be helpful: I bought a large size, which is the right chest measurement, but the sleeves and collar are a little too big for me. Ideally I'd like a large size chest and 15.5" collar/34-35" sleeves, which I can find with other ready to wear shirts. Nevertheless, I am definitely going to buy another.
